Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Bridgeport, WV.

Lead ecological permitting projects, manage client relationships, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to navigate NEPA, permitting, and regulatory processes across diverse markets. You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and help grow a well-established ecological practice in a 100% employee-owned firm offering ownership opportunities and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Environmental Planning, Permitting, or Compliance.
• Experience preparing NEPA documents (CATEX/EA/EIS).
• Strong client development and management experience across energy, public sector, and real estate markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage ecological and environmental permitting projects from planning through regulatory approval and completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support business development and expand ecological services in the region.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams coordinating with civil, water, geotechnical, surveying, and environmental professionals.
• Provide technical mentoring to ecological staff and ensure high-quality client service.
