Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally responsible classroom.
• Supervise children during activities and meals, ensuring safety and reporting concerns as required by law.
• Engage families with sustainable communication and participate in family engagement events.
• Attend required training sessions and collaborate with the team to enhance curriculum and sustainability initiatives.
