Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas area is seeking an ECMO Specialist to participate in the development and execution of ECMO treatment plans, including patient assessment and education. You will collaborate with the ECMO physician and the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required are a Bachelor's degree, completion of an ECMO training program, a Texas RN or RRT license, BLS and ACLS, and at least two years of critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Completion of ECMO training program or formal education in extracorporeal circulation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of the ECMO treatment plan, including assessment, planning, implementation and education.
• Communicate with the ECMO physician and healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete patient care plans.
