Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking an ECMO Clinical Supervisor to oversee ECMO operations and staff, ensuring patient care quality and regulatory compliance. The role requires an RN or RT license and at least 3 years of ECMO experience, with ongoing ACLS/PALS/BLS maintenance.

BSN or BSRT must be pursued within 3 years of hire. The ECMO supervisor will lead clinical practices, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support program development within a high-acuity pediatric

Qualifications

• RN or Respiratory Therapist license required.
• At least 3 years of ECMO experience.
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications required/maintained.
• BSN or BSRT must be pursued within 3 years of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ECMO daily operations and staff.
• Monitor ECMO pump function, circuit volume, and anticoagulation with physician orders.
• Coordinate cannulation/decannulation and transport of ECMO patients.
• Ensure documentation, charges, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
