Job summary

Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Care Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist for the Cardiac ICU. You will provide expert nursing care for patients on ECMO, collaborate with perfusion and medical teams, and ensure safe, evidence-based management.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas; NRP for NICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with complex needs in ICU/ECMO settings.
• Respond to life-threatening events following hospital protocol.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor and manage ECMO-related equipment and circulatory support.
• Document patient data accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
• Delegate tasks to the healthcare team while prioritizing patient safety.
