Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience, direct ECMO background preferred.
• ICU-level care with ECMO principles and cardiothoracic familiarity.
• Ability to perform arterial/central lines and intubations; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to ECMO patients, including initial assessments and care plan development.
• Monitor ECMO parameters daily and address complications.
• Perform bedside procedures (arterial/central lines) per guidelines.
• Collaborate with intensivists, perfusionists, and nursing staff to optimize outcomes.
• Educate families about ECMO therapy and address concerns.
• Interpret lab results to guide care decisions and escalate as needed.
• Work autonomously and with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient health.
