Job summary

Vynca is seeking a Training and Development Specialist for the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) program to design, implement, and evaluate staff training aligned with CalAIM and DHCS guidelines. The role includes onboarding, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives across states.

You will work with leadership and external partners to tailor training, maintain records, and ensure continuing education compliance while supporting workforce development in Medi-Cal transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Health Care Administration preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in adult education, staff training and development in healthcare or social services.
• Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm Pacific Time; evenings/weekends possible.
• Experience with Medi-Cal populations, ECM, or CalAIM is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive ECM training programs.
• Coordinate and deliver training on ECM core competencies and program standards.
• Onboard new ECM staff and provide ongoing training per CalAIM guidelines.
• Assess training efficacy via assessments, feedback, and metrics.
• Assist audits and support performance improvement plans.
• Liaise with leadership and stakeholders to align training with ECM objectives.
• Maintain training records and ensure continuing education compliance.
• Create training materials, job aids, and guidance documents.
• Support quality improvement by integrating lessons learned into protocols.
• Collaborate with ECM operation leaders for cross-functional alignment.
