Job summary

Raas Infotek LTD seeks an Onsite ECM Lead to direct architecture, strategy, and governance for enterprise content environments. You will act as SME for OpenText Documentum D2 while maintaining SharePoint knowledge to enable cross-platform integrations and data migrations.

You will bridge engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring high availability, strict data governance, and efficient document lifecycle management across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Content Management, with 4+ years configuring and administering OpenText Documentum D2 (v16.x / v20.x or higher).
• 3+ years of working knowledge with Microsoft SharePoint (Online / On-Premises), including document library setup, metadata columns, view management, and basic workflow integration.
• Strong command of master data management (MDM), asset-tagging schemas, XML/JSON configurations, and SQL database structures.
• Proven track record leading technical teams and directly supporting onsite business users in fast-paced or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle strategy for enterprise content, including document taxonomy, metadata schemas, retention schedules, and access control models.
• Serve as the primary onsite technical authority and SME for OpenText Documentum D2 configurations, user interface customizations, and lifecycle rules.
• Architect and maintain seamless integration touchpoints between Documentum D2, Microsoft SharePoint, EAM platforms, and engineering design tools.
• Drive project-to-asset digital handovers, ensuring thousands of drawings and documents transition into active operations.
• Configure Documentum D2 applications using D2-Config, managing creation profiles, properties, lifecycles, and auto-naming rules.
• Oversee IAM permissions, security groups, ACLs, and auditing to maintain corporate security standards.
• Perform routine system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning to prevent data disruption.
• Direct data mining, ETL pipelines, and bulk content ingestion into Documentum repositories using Hexagon SPF or native tools.

Job responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Lead to direct the architecture, strategy, and technical governance of our enterprise content environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenText Documentum D2, while maintaining a solid working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint to drive cross-platform integrations, data migrations, and seamless document workflows.

Operating onsite, you will bridge the gap between engineering teams, IT infrastructure, and business stakeholders, ensuring high system availability, strict data governance, and efficient document lifecycle management across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

ECM Strategy & Technical Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle strategy for enterprise content, including document taxonomy, metadata schemas, retention schedules, and access control models.
• Serve as the primary onsite technical authority and SME for OpenText Documentum D2 configurations, user interface customizations, and lifecycle rules.

• Drive project-to-asset digital handovers, ensuring thousands of technical drawings, submittals, and vendor documents transition smoothly into active operations.
• Configure and tune Documentum D2 applications using D2-Config, managing creation profiles, property sheets, taxonomies, lifecycles, and auto-naming/numbering rules.
• Oversee Identity Access Management (IAM) permissions, security groups, ACLs, and auditing rules to maintain compliance with corporate security standards.
• Perform routine system monitoring, diagnostic audits, and performance tuning to eliminate infrastructure capability gaps and guarantee zero data disruption.
• Direct data mining, ETL pipelines, and bulk content ingestion into Documentum repositories using Hexagon SPF or native migration utilities.

SharePoint Management & Integration

• Oversee and optimize Microsoft SharePoint document libraries, metadata structures, and site architectures to support team collaboration and operational workflows.
• Establish and maintain cross-platform synchronization and reference frameworks between SharePoint environments and Documentum repositories.
• Assist business units in migrating legacy file structures and siloed content repositories into structured SharePoint or Documentum solutions.

Stakeholder Alignment & Operations

• Provide hands-on onsite support, troubleshooting complex application constraints for local and remote engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
• Partner with project managers, systems analysts, and network engineering leads to align digital execution plans with long-term business goals.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and training materials, leading training sessions to drive user adoption across operating units.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Core ECM Expertise: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Content Management, with 4+ years of specialized experience configuring and administering OpenText Documentum D2 (v16.x / v20.x or higher preferred).
• SharePoint Knowledge: 3+ years of working knowledge with Microsoft SharePoint (Online / On-Premises), including document library setup, metadata columns, view management, and basic workflow integration.
• Data & System Architecture: Strong command of master data management (MDM), asset-tagging schemas, XML/JSON configurations, and SQL database structures.
• Onsite Leadership: Proven track record leading technical teams, managing third-party software vendor relations, and directly supporting onsite business users in fast-paced or industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience integrating ECM tools with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP PM/MM).
• Background supporting capital projects, EPC frameworks, or mission-critical industrial environments (e.g., Energy, Manufacturing, Utilities).
• Familiarity with engineering document control standards (P&IDs, Single-Line Diagrams, Submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders).
• Certified OpenText Documentum Administrator or Microsoft SharePoint / M365 Certification.
