Job summary

Global Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Analyst/Associate for its ECM and capital markets practice in New York. The role supports equity and equity-linked transactions, working with senior bankers across the deal lifecycle.

You will help generate market intelligence, prepare materials for clients, and coordinate with Origination, Syndicate, Sales and Trading. A strong background in valuations, modeling, and communication is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or graduate degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of equity capital markets, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with sharp analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support origination and execution of equity transactions (IPOs, Follow-Ons, CMPO, PIPE, etc.) and M&A advisory.
• Build market intelligence, offering memoranda, investor presentations and CRM trackers.
• Conduct market analysis, valuation comparables, and monitor investor sentiment.
• Coordinate with Origination, Syndicate, Sales and Trading to market and allocate transactions.
• Participate in due diligence, drafting, and regulatory filing processes; interface with legal/compliance.
• Prepare thought pieces on ECM market trends for internal and client use.
• Collaborate with corporate access on Non-Deal Roadshows.
