Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center seeks an Echocardiograph Technologist for a part-time day shift on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30am-6:00pm, in Newberg, OR. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible external candidates and comes with Providence's comprehensive benefits.

The role performs cardiac ultrasound exams, assists with invasive echocardiography, and supports a wide range of imaging modalities in a hospital setting, aligned with physician orders and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include Oregon Sonographer license, CCI/Cardiovascular Credentialing International credentials, ARDMS registration, and BLS.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Clinical experience with cardiovascular ultrasound examinations is expected.
• Experiences with echo-guided transcatheter procedures and pediatric echocardiography are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations per physician orders.
• Assist physicians with invasive echocardiography including TEE and echo-guided procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify disease presence or absence.
