Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a cardiac imaging technician for the full-time evening shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm). You will set up and adjust imaging equipment, assist physicians, and maintain quality control to ensure safe, accurate exams.

Candidate should have an associate or bachelor’s degree with 1+ year hospital experience and current BLS/CPR certification, plus eligible or holding imaging credentials. Equal opportunity employer.

• 1+ year hospital imaging experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR required; specific cardiac imaging credentials issued by recognized bodies required or eligible.

Job Description: Full-Time Evening - 3 pm to 11:30 pm Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams. Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures. Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures. Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.

Work Experience: 1+ experience in a hospital environment [Preferred]
