Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in cardiac imaging to join our La Grange, IL team. You will perform cardiac imaging studies during the evening shift, ensuring safety and quality control while supporting physicians in diagnostic procedures.

The ideal candidate has an associate or bachelor’s degree and 1+ year hospital experience, with required BLS CPR and ARDMS/RCS/RVT/RCDS credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts cardiac imaging equipment to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and conducts quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex imaging studies and assists physicians.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain efficiency.

Job Description:

**Full-Time Evening - 3 pm to 11:30 pm

• Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience in a hospital environment [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
