Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC, is seeking a dedicated Echocardiography Technician PRN to join our cardiovascular team. You will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies to aid in diagnosis and patient care, using state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative, teaching hospital setting.

Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS), graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Science program, and eligible to sit for RVT with plans to obtain RVT within six months.

Qualifications

• Must be RDCS or RCS.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Science Program.
• Eligible to sit for RVT and obtain RVT within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art echocardiography equipment.
• Support patient care and documentation throughout exams.
