Job summary

UNC Health Care seeks an Ultrasound Tech to render echocardiograms, carotid Doppler studies, and transesophageal echocardiography with high professional standards. You will deliver quality diagnostic testing and compassionate care to patients across age groups, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure excellent service and outcomes.

The role requires experience in ultrasound, BCLS training, and a strong focus on interpersonal communication within a fast-paced cardiology environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare background preferred (cardiopulmonary or ultrasound).
• Two years' experience in ultrasound field preferred.
• Registered Ultrasound tech preferred; NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; good math and anatomy knowledge.
• BCLS training required.

Responsibilities

• Render highly professional echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and/or transesophageal echos.
• Provide quality diagnostic testing and patient care; maintain positive department image.
• Interact with physicians and customers with superior service and communication.
