Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a qualified Echocardiography Technician to produce diagnostic cardiac images using advanced ultrasound equipment. The role requires RDCS or RCS certification and eligibility to pursue RVT, with RVT to be obtained within six months. BLS/CPR certification is also required.

The successful candidate will join a teaching hospital-focused team, contributing to holistic patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be a RDCS or RCS certified; eligible to sit for RVT.
• Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Science Program; RVT eligibility and RVT within 6 months required.
• BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Acquire high-quality echocardiographic images for diagnostic assessment.
• Support cardiac care with patient-centered imaging and documentation.

THE POSITION

Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Echocardiography Technician, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional cardiac care. In this position, you will utilize advanced echocardiographic technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images, aiding in the assessment and treatment of patients' heart conditions. Your expertise and compassion will contribute directly to patient well-being, making a meaningful impact every day. Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS). Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Science Program. Must be eligible to sit for Registered Vascular (RVT). Must obtain RVT within 6 months. BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association
