Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA is seeking a skilled Echo Technician to perform echocardiographic studies and assist physicians in diagnosis. You will maintain high-quality records, follow infection control standards, and provide compassionate patient care across ages.

Required ARDMS/CCI registry eligibility with BLS, along with a CAHEAP-accredited program or equivalent training. The role includes 4x10 hour shifts, weekend/holiday rotation, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology; congenital and acquired conditions.
• Proficiency in echocardiographic techniques including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging.
• Understanding of ultrasound physics and equipment operation.
• Ability to obtain and interpret diagnostic-quality images independently.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and EMR.
