Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Georgia seeks an Echo Cardiographer (Cardiac Sonographer) to provide high-quality imaging and patient care. You will perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and transesophageal echocardiograms while maintaining equipment and accuracy.

The role requires graduation from an accredited cardiovascular sonography program, current BLS certification, and registration as a Cardiac Sonographer or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography.
• Current AHA or Red Cross BLS Health Care Provider is required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential held.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, Stress Echocardiograms.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms and process orders/reports.
• Transport patients to/from the department for testing.
• Assist in other diagnostic cardiology duties (EKG, Holter, Stress Testing).
• Maintain and clean equipment and accurate records.
