Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform echocardiography studies under the direction of a Cardiologist and Lead Technologist. You will gather and document patient data, report probable findings to physicians, and ensure high-quality imaging.

You will maintain and clean equipment, enter patient data in computer systems, and assist with transesophageal and stress echocardiography as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade school formal training in ultrasound/cardiovascular required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in Echocardiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies under the direction of a Cardiologist, Supervisor and/or Lead Technologist.
• Gather and document patient data; report probable findings to physicians.
• Maintain certification/registration and proper functioning of equipment; enter patient data into computer systems.
