Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a skilled cardiac ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in the Cardiology/Echocardiography department. You will contribute to patient care, support fellows and students, and manage workflow within a rotating shift environment.

The role requires knowledge of patient growth and development, data interpretation, and proficiency with department systems and equipment to ensure accurate, timely assessments.

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved cardiac Ultrasound technology program with credentialing from an ICAEL and ASE recognized program (e.g., ARDMS or CCI).
• Registry eligible candidates have 90 days from date of hire to pass the licensure exam.

Mansioni

• Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients in the Department of Cardiology/Echocardiography.
• Participates in teaching Cardiology Fellows from the University of Connecticut Medical School and Echocardiography students from the Hoffman Heart School of Ultrasound, maintains workflow, and performs clerical duties as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and the ability to assess data reflecting the patient’s status to identify requirements.
• Uses or learns to use the department’s computerized system and its devices for patient care and documentation.
