Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech to perform ultrasound exams and operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment. The role requires knowledge of radiographic imaging, patient monitoring, and arrhythmia recognition within a day shift schedule.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Ultrasound and a RDMS certification within one year of hire; two years of sonography experience or eligibility to board is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of Certified Ultrasound program; Associates Degree. Abdomen certification (ABD) recommended.
• Licensure: RDMS Certification within one year of hire.
• Experience: Two years working in a Sonographer capacity required or a student that has graduated from an approved Ultrasound program and is eligible to take their boards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmia recognition.
• Contribute to efficient operations of the SMH Radiology department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care.
• Uses critical thinking to resolve complex procedural situations and handle high-stress emergencies during procedures.
