Job summary

Greenkey Resources LLC is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiography procedures and independently evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics. You will review orders, educate patients, and ensure high-quality imaging while using state-of-the-art equipment.

The role emphasizes patient safety, continuous learning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. AAS with RDCS/RCS and BLS certifications are required, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• AAS degree or equivalent in allied health or related field.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• BLS certification from an accredited provider.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac sonography.
• Proficiency in using advanced imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics.
• Ability to educate patients effectively.
• Commitment to safety standards and quality control in imaging practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures to evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics independently.
• Review patient history and orders to ensure accurate imaging.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and outcomes to ensure cooperation and understanding.
• Select and use appropriate transducers and imaging parameters based on patient anatomy and diagnostic needs.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice when required.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to changes in status appropriately.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to ensure consistent imaging quality.
• Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and report findings accurately.
