Loyal Source Government Services is seeking two full-time Certified Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians to support the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, MN.

The role focuses on patient-centered care for veterans, performing echocardiography imaging, and collaborating with radiologists and physicians to interpret results. Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with on-call duties and holiday requirements; position contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, full, current, and unrestricted license if required by the state.
• Current certification in echocardiography imaging by ARDMS or CCI.
• BLS certification.
• Medical liability insurance for the duration of the task order.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures.
• Calibrate equipment, adjust lab settings, and acquire high-quality images.
• Review image quality and communicate with providers for evaluation.
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians on imaging results.
• Complete QM/PI documentation for all procedures and outcomes.
• Refer all patient issues to Supervisory Physician or Nurse Manager.

Loyal Source Government Services is looking for 2 full-time Certified Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians to provide services to Minneapolis VA Health Care System located in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Summary: Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians must be efficient, motivated, focus on patient care with our Veteran population. Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians are expected to maintain a high degree of accurate productivity and performance while working with our VA community at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, MN. Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians are required to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and consistent care to individuals.

Pay Rate: $50.27/hr + $5.42 H&W Fringe

Duties

• Preparing and positioning patients for Echo-sonography procedures. Including explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Selecting appropriate imaging techniques, calibrating and adjusting lab equipment, and operating the laboratory equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Reviewing and verifying the quality of images, ensuring they meet the required standards for diagnostic purposes, and communicating with providers for further evaluation.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting procedures performed, and handling confidential patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret and discuss imaging results and to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Complete the appropriate QM/PI documentation pertaining to all procedures, complications and outcome of examinations.
• Refer all patient/customer service issues to the Supervisory Physician, Nurse Manager or designee.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, full, current, and unrestricted license if required by the State, Territory, or Commonwealth in which the credential is issued.
• Current certification in echocardiography imaging by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Must have BLS
• Must have Medical Liability Insurance for the duration of the task order
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience

Shift

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Required:
  • On Call status 1 weeknight per week between the hours of 5:00 pm – 7:30 am
  • On Call shifts are required one weekend out of four. Weekend hours start at 5:00 pm on Friday and conclude at 7:30 am on the following Monday.
  • On Call status for holidays will include three federal holidays
