Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks two full-time Certified Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians for the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, MN. The roles focus on efficient, compassionate patient care for veterans, delivering high-quality imaging and accurate documentation.

Pay rate is $50.27/hr plus $5.42 H&W fringe. On-site shifts are Monday–Friday with on-call requirements including weeknights, weekends, and federal holidays.

Qualifications

• Active license in the relevant state or territory.
• Current certification in echocardiography imaging (ARDMS or CCI).
• BLS certification is required.
• Medical liability insurance for the task order duration.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures with patient comfort in mind.
• Select imaging techniques, calibrate equipment, and produce high-quality images.
• Review image quality and consult with providers for evaluation.
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to discuss imaging results.
• Complete QM/PI documentation for procedures and outcomes.
• Escalate any patient service issues to the Supervisory Physician or designee.
