Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking two full-time Certified Echocardiographic Imaging Technicians to support the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, MN.

The role focuses on patient-centered care for veterans, performing echocardiography imaging, and collaborating with radiologists and physicians to interpret results. Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with on-call duties and holiday requirements; position contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, full, current, and unrestricted license if required by the state.
• Current certification in echocardiography imaging by ARDMS or CCI.
• BLS certification.
• Medical liability insurance for the duration of the task order.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for echocardiography procedures.
• Calibrate equipment, adjust lab settings, and acquire high-quality images.
• Review image quality and communicate with providers for evaluation.
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians on imaging results.
• Complete QM/PI documentation for all procedures and outcomes.
• Refer all patient issues to Supervisory Physician or Nurse Manager.
