Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an echo technologist to perform comprehensive echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, and stress echo. The role requires high technical proficiency and adherence to established standards in non-invasive cardiology.

Preferred candidates will have an associate degree in echocardiography or accredited training, BLS/ACLS credentials, and experience with Philips equipment and Epic systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association required.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all echocardiograms including 2D, M-Mode, color Doppler, pulse wave Doppler, continuous wave Doppler, transesophageal echocardiogram, and stress echo.
• Operate at a high technical level following established standards and practices.
• Maintain equipment, including sterilization of TEE probes, and manage related procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiology team and supervisor of non-invasive cardiology.
