Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas area seeks an echocardiography technologist to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes clear communication, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement in the patient experience.

Requirements include ARDMS in AE and/or PR, BLS, and a strong commitment to teamwork. Pediatric competency may substitute for ARDMS with physician corroboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (AE and/or PR) required.
• A pediatric echo competency may substitute ARDMS with a pediatric cardiologist statement.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you‘ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Your Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred. Your Job Responsibilities:
