Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide high-quality cardiac imaging for patients. The role focuses on performing echocardiograms and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree in echocardiography or completed an accredited echo training program, have ARDMS AE/PR certification, and maintain BLS.

Qualifications

• Requires ARDMS in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR).
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
• Current Basic Life Support required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred.
