Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, Texas seeks a dedicated echocardiography technologist to join our fast-paced, highly technical team. In this PRN role, you will perform echocardiograms, collaborate with physicians, and help ensure high-quality imaging for patient care.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus an associate degree or accredited echo training; ARDMS certification in adult and/or pediatric echo is required or substitution with pediatric

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Associate degree in echocardiography or completion of an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS certification in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required; pediatric cardiologist statement may substitute for ARDMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality imaging.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients by performing echocardiograms.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Graduate from an associate degree echo program and/or an accredited echo training program preferred.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in adult echo (AE) and/or pediatric echo (PR) required.
• A written statement from a pediatric cardiologist stating that the applicant is skilled and competent in independently performing all scopes of pediatric echocardiography may be substituted for the ARDMS.
