Job summary

ACHE in Wisconsin seeks an experienced cardiovascular ultrasound technologist to perform high-frequency ultrasonic cardiac studies under the supervision of the Director of Cardiology. You will operate within Cardiology Services and follow hospital policies to support patient care and program goals.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in radiologic technology or related field, with RDCS registration preferred and BLS training required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology performs a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures through the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves. Functions within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and the hospital policy and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

Associate Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related health care field; RDCS registry preferred. BLS Training required.

EXPERIENCE

1 year experience cardiac ultrasound minimum.
