UVM Health - Central Vermont Medical Center is seeking an experienced cardiovascular ultrasound technologist to perform advanced cardiac ultrasonography using non-ionizing high-frequency waves under cardiology supervision. You will operate within Cardiology Services and follow hospital policies to support patient care standards.
Requirements include an associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent, BLS, and at least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience.
Position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $10,000, subject to terms, conditions, and change.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology performs a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures through the application of non‑ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves. Functions within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and the hospital policy and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.
Associate Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related health care field; RDCS registry preferred. BLS Training required.
1 year experience cardiac ultrasound minimum.
