CVMC - Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT seeks a qualified cardiac ultrasound technologist. Provides a variety of non-ionizing ultrasonographic procedures under the director of Cardiology and supports hospital objectives.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in radiologic technology, RDCS registry preferred, and BLS training; at least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience. This is a bargaining union, full-time position with day shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology performs a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures through the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves. Functions within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and the hospital policy and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

Associate Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related health care field; RDCS registry preferred. BLS Training required.

EXPERIENCE

1 year experience cardiac ultrasound minimum.

This is a bargaining union position.
