Job summary

UVM Health - Central Vermont Medical Center is seeking an experienced cardiovascular ultrasound technologist to perform advanced cardiac ultrasonography using non-ionizing high-frequency waves under cardiology supervision. You will operate within Cardiology Services and follow hospital policies to support patient care standards.

Requirements include an associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent, BLS, and at least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience in radiologic tech or related health care field.
• RDCS registry preferred; BLS training required.
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures using non-ionizing high-frequency ultrasound.
• Functions within the scope of Cardiology Services and hospital policies.
• Supports the hospital's philosophy, objectives and goals.
