Qualifications

• Echo Technologist IARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Must obtain registries (ARDMS/CCI/ACS) per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams following department protocols and coordinate with medical staff.
• Prioritize, schedule and document exam results; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Mentor students and other caregivers; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Apply charge codes for exams and maintain equipment and supplies.
