Job summary

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, is seeking a PRN/Per Diem Echo Vascular Technologist to support adult and pediatric echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams under supervision. This role requires enrollment in an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program and a high school diploma, with BLS certification and a preference for 1 year of ultrasound experience.

You will participate in procedures, provide leadership in the department, and assist with ultrasound-guided tasks

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited 2-year/Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology/Sonography (Required)
High School Diploma (Required)
Work Experience 1 year ECHO/Cardiovascular Ultrasound (Preferred)
BLS certification required/licensed
Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

Perform adult Echocardiography/vascular ultrasound exams under supervision by a certified/registered echovascular technologist.
Act as a resource in area of expertise.
Provide leadership and training through department stand ups and on-the-job training.
Perform adult Echo/Pediatric Echo/Adult vascular exams, including TEE.
Assist OR with ultrasound-guided procedures.
Perform pediatric echocardiography as required.
