Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in Houston, TX seeks an Echo/Vascular Tech to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, vascular studies and related testing. The role requires RDCS or RCS credentials and BLS within 30 days of employment, with at least 1 year of experience.

You will work in a comprehensive cardiology environment with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging. The Echo/Vascular Tech will perform 2D, Doppler, carotid, peripheral arterial/venous scans,

Qualifications

• Echo/vascular imaging experience including transthoracic echocardiograms and Doppler studies.
• RDCS or RCS credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• 2D, M-Mode, Doppler Echo.
• Needle Guided Paracentesis.
• Perform carotid artery scans.
• Perform heart dopplers.
• Perform peripheral arterial scans.
• Perform Peripheral venous scans.
• Perform segmental blood pressure measurements.
• Stress Echocardiogram, Pharmacologic and Treadmill.
• TEE Assist.
