HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress in Cypress, TX is hiring an Echo and Vascular Tech REG to perform echocardiography studies and support EKG testing, under supervision of the cardiology team. This role focuses on quality studies and patient care.

You will review results, communicate with staff, and help with case management and cost containment while maintaining efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required.
• RDCS or RCS certification required (Registered Diagnostic/Cardiac Sonographer).
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiography studies and provides backup to EKG technicians.
• Communicates patient status and results to the care team to ensure optimal service.
• Identifies changes in patient condition and initiates appropriate responses.
• Ensures documentation and charging of resources/supplies.
• Maintains efficient workflow and collaborates with departments to meet objectives.
