Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Sonographer III to support diagnostic imaging across Talladega and Jasper, AL. The role involves performing echocardiograms and vascular studies, with emphasis on high-quality imaging and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Ability to perform both Echo and Vascular studies.
• Knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies.
• Obtain and document accurate patient histories and clinical information.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
