Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our PRN float pool across Baptist Health campuses in Jacksonville, FL. This on-site role offers varied shifts.

You will perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiography, collaborate with cardiologists, provide patient education, and help maintain equipment and department standards. BLS required; Adult Echo credentials via ARDMS or CCI must be obtained within 18 months.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience Required
• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Adult Echo Credentials via ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using ultrasound techniques.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Provide cross-coverage and back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department.
• Deliver compassionate patient care by educating patients for procedures and ensuring safety.
