Job summary

Baptist Health Shelby Hospital in Alabaster, AL seeks an experienced ultrasound professional to perform diagnostic cardiology and vascular imaging under supervision. The role involves quality imaging, patient care, and collaboration with the imaging team to support timely diagnostics and excellent patient outcomes.

Eligible candidates will have ARDMS/CCI credentials, a minimum of two years’ experience in Echocardiography or vascular ultrasound, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography; meets ARDMS/CCI guidelines as required by department.
• Must maintain one of the listed sonography certifications; ongoing credentialing required within 12 months if applicable.
• Maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive studies as assigned, with equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborates with providers to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation.
