Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS), a Catalyst MedTech subsidiary, seeks an Echo/Vascular Sonographer in LaGrange, GA. You will perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular ultrasound exams, delivering high-quality imaging.

You will gather histories, explain procedures to patients, and summarize findings for physicians. Use Philips Epiq CVx equipment; maintain sterile technique; support accreditation processes.

Qualifications

  • Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential.
  • Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential.
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience with cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging.
  • Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echoes, and vascular ultrasound exams following protocols.
  • Patient & Clinical Communication: Gather patient histories, explain procedures, and summarize findings for interpreting physicians.
  • Clinical Excellence & Safety: Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, maintain sterile technique, and support accreditation processes.
  • Clinical Care Delivery: Conduct 4–8 exams per day across CAD, PAD, DVT, and other conditions.

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable Echo / Vascular Sonographer to join our team in LaGrange, GA. In this role, you will work providing critical diagnostic imaging for a wide range of cardiac and vascular conditions. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and value work-life balance—with no required weekends, holiday shifts, or on-call duties—this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Execution: Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echoes, and comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams (carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, etc.) following established protocols.
  • Patient & Clinical Communication: Gather detailed patient histories, effectively communicate procedures to ensure an exceptional patient experience, and summarize key clinical findings for interpreting physicians.
  • Clinical Excellence & Safety: Operate and maintain advanced ultrasound equipment (Phillips Epiq CVx), maintain sterile technique where required, and assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
  • Clinical Care Delivery: Perform 4–8 exams per day across diverse conditions (CAD, PAD, DVT, renal artery stenosis, venous reflux, cardiomyopathy).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certifications:
  • Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential.
  • Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential.
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Education & Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, with demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging.
  • Technical Skills: Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (Epic preferred).
  • Physical & Logistics Requirements: Ability to push/pull heavy diagnostic medical equipment; valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in high-volume outpatient testing centers, physician offices, or hospital settings.
  • Hands-on experience assisting with interventional/vascular procedures.
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call). Potential for alternating Fridays off based on patient volume.
