Catalyst MedTech is seeking a Multi-Modality Sonographer to perform comprehensive ultrasound imaging across cardiac and vascular studies. The role emphasizes top patient care, efficient imaging, and adherence to established protocols.

The candidate should have ARDMS certification with 2+ years of ultrasound experience, clinical flexibility to travel to client sites, and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS Certification required.
• RDCS/RCVS Certification or RVT certification preferred.
• Graduated from an accredited ultrasound program and has 2+ years ultrasound experience.

Responsabilités

• Performs general ultrasound imaging following protocols.
• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams per protocols.
• Conducts vascular studies including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI.
• Communicates with patients and staff to ensure quality imaging and care.
• Assist with accreditation processes (ACR/IAC) as needed.
• Travel to client locations and maintain equipment safely.

Your Responsibilities

• Performs general ultrasound imaging.
• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols.
• Performs a full-range of vascular ultrasound studies to include carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams while following established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience.
• Obtain a thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician.
• Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
• Conduct work in a sterile environment based on established protocols and client processes.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance is up-to-date and immediately reporting any malfunctions or concerns.
• Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care.
• Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner.
• Maintain standards of ethical professionalism at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active ARDMS Certification
• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification
• Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) Certification; RVT/RVS a plus
• Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
• 2 years of Ultrasound experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging. Experience in procedures a plus.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License

Working Conditions

Work is performed at outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician office settings with moderate to high patient volume. Sonographers must travel in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for periods of time.
• Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Occupational Exposure

Performance of clinical job duties has a reasonable anticipated risk factor of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials. Employees are required to use protective equipment.
