Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for a 6-week contract in Massachusetts. Requires 2+ years of transthoracic and dobutamine stress echocardiography experience, RDMS and BLS, and active MA license if applicable. 8-hour AM shifts, 40 hours/week, with weekend rotation; no on-call.

Responsibilities include non-invasive tests and preliminary measurements in a hospital echocardiology department. Local candidates within 50 miles are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of transthoracic echocardiography experience.
• Dobutamine stress echocardiography experience.
• RDMS certification and BLS required.
• Active MA state license if applicable.
• Knowledge of cardiology, medical terminology, basic physics, biology, and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Echocardiology department.
• 8-hour AM shifts, 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM start time.
• Weekend rotation required.
• No on-call rotation.
• Performs non-invasive diagnostic tests for cardiovascular diseases to support quality patient care.
• Responsible for preliminary echocardiographic measurements and summarizing diagnostic data for physicians or managers.
• Performs technical duties using phono-apexcardiograms, imaging duplex, and ultrasound equipment.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality of personal and health-sensitive information.
• Bilingual or multi-lingual skills are a plus.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
