Job summary

St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin is seeking an Echo Tech/Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures and capture high-quality cardiac images.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure patient comfort, and support accurate diagnoses in a busy cardiovascular diagnostics setting. The role requires strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and excellent communication to deliver exceptional diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved EKG Training Program.
• BLS CPR certification within 14 days.
• Registration with ARDMS: RDCS, RDMS and related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear diagnostic information.
• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

Pay Range

$34.69 - $51.59 /hour
