Vanderbilt Health seeks an Echo Technologist to acquire echocardiographic data under physician supervision, performing transthoracic imaging and contrast with physician direction. It includes morphologic imaging and assessment of myocardial function.

Gathers images for all patients, communicates findings to the care team, and helps ensure exam quality and safety. RDCS licensure is required or eligible, with emphasis on patient care and teamwork at Vanderbilt Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• RDCS eligibility or licensure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate Echo testing process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• Gathers echocardiographic images for all patients including the clinically complex patients.
• Communicates findings to the healthcare team including recognition of abnormal studies.
