Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled echocardiography technologist to join our Riverside, CA team. You will perform echocardiograms, ensure exam completeness, and support Cardiologists with accurate reports.

We value certified echocardiographers with AMA training in 2D, color flow and M Mode, and current AHA BLS certification. Excellent equipment maintenance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AMA accredited training in 2D, color flow and M Mode echocardiography.
• Register as an echocardiographer is required.
• Registered Echo sonographer.
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and verify completeness of patient examination prior to submission to Cardiologist.
• Maintain diagnostic equipment in good working order and notify Supervisor or Director of any equipment in need of repairs.
• Record inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Distribute and file all reports.
• Demonstrate ability to perform quantitative measurements of data obtained from the on mode tracings.
• Take verbal orders for diagnostic testing from physicians and record orders in chart.
• Utilizes order entry system to access and complete exams.
• Compile echo cardiology reports for physicians and properly label tapes/docs.
