Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an experienced echocardiography technologist for Riverside Medical Clinic in Riverside, CA. The role requires performing echocardiograms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate reports for Cardiologists.

You'll work 8:30am - 5:30pm in a supportive multi-specialty environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AMA accredited training in 2D, color flow and M-Mode echocardiography.
• Registered Echo sonographer
• Current BLS (AHA) certification

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and verify completeness before submission to Cardiologist.
• Maintain diagnostic equipment in good working order.
• Record inventory and order supplies.
• Distribute and file all reports.
• Label and organize echo cardiology paperwork and tapes for physician review.
• Take verbal orders for diagnostic testing from physicians and record orders in chart.
• Utilize order entry system to access and complete exams.
• Compile echo cardiology reports for physicians.
