*Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a full-time Echo Technologist for our Franciscan Heart and Vascular in Burien, WA. Join our fast-paced, patient-centered team with diverse testing modalities. No weekends or major holidays required!*

Job Summary:
This role involves performing sonographic examinations independently, focusing on cardiac ultrasounds, requiring sound judgment and diagnostic skills.

*Essential Duties*

• Perform technical procedures with a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to ensure optimal results.
• Maintain expertise in sonography examinations and equipment.
• Manage scheduling, reporting, and filing of exams.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Process and label exams accurately.
• Participate in ongoing education and departmental training.

*Qualifications*

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Preferably, one year of post-graduate experience in cardiac ultrasound or demonstrated proficiency in diagnostics or ultrasound.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current ARDMS registration or certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Current healthcare provider BLS Certification.

*Pay Range:*
$42.92 - $62.48/hour
