Job summary

CHI St. Vincent in Arkansas is seeking an Echo Tech/Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures, capture high-quality cardiac images, and ensure patient comfort.

You will operate ultrasound equipment and handle a range of echocardiographic studies while reporting significant findings to physicians. The role requires strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, technical proficiency, and effective communication to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Two years college with emphasis in medical sciences and mathematics.
• 18 contact hours in-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography.
• Registration in one or more listed Cardiac Sonography certifications within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, 2D, color flow mapping, Doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophageal echo, stress testing, EKG, and Holter.
• Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures.
• Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians.
• Maintains echo equipment.
• Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. PRN rate $38.50/flat Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

• Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, two dimensional, color flow mapping, cardiac doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophagealecho, stress testing, EKG, and Holter application.
• Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures
• Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians.

Job Requirements

Required

• Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medicalsciences and mathematics., upon hire and
• Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours ofin-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Preferred

• Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiovascular ultrasound
