Job summary

Cardiology Specialists of North Texas is seeking an Echo Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers dayshift hours (Monday–Friday) with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will prepare patients, perform echocardiographic exams, document results and support quality assurance across echocardiography equipment. Qualified applicants will hold an approved echocardiology program certificate, have 1–3 years of experience, and possess ARDMS/CCI credentials.

Qualifications

• Requires a certificate from an approved echocardiology program.
• 1-3 years’ experience is required.
• ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification/license held.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.
• Performs timely procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Performs QA on all sonar equipment and adheres to infection control policies.
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and supports colleagues.
• Follows Physician Services policies and the Code of Conduct.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Echo Technician

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays

What you will do in this role:

Prepares patients for exams, monitors progress and records results.

Performs timely procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.

Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Adhere to and practices appropriate infection control policies and procedures.

Performs QA on all sonar equipment.

Maintains clean, organized work areas.

Perform other duties as required

Must read and understand and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement,

Adheres to established rules, ethical standards, regulations and laws of the speech-hearing profession.

What Qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

Requires a certificate from an approved echocardiology program.

EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years’ experience is required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing

International (CCI) certification/license required.
