Job summary

Medical City Healthcare in Decatur, Texas is seeking an Echo Technician PRN. You will perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, and assist with stress tests in the laboratory. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Echocardiography and must obtain necessary certifications within a specified time frame.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

Perform cardiac ultrasound without supervision to include, but not limited to transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. Sonographers will have technical skill to perform studies as well as handle instrumentation, maintain equipment function, and follow safety policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 6 months of hire/transfer into position
• Minimum one-year experience in Echocardiography preferred
• Ability to assist with stress tests in the stress lab
